Protraxx Proudly Supports the 2026 Australian Junior Motocross Championship

From world championship motocross to Australia’s next generation of riders, Protraxx continues its commitment to the sport with a week of track preparation, maintenance and family activities at the 2026 Australian Junior Motocross Championship in Victoria.
Following its involvement in the MXGP of Australia in Darwin, Protraxx headed south to Shepparton, Victoria, to support the 2026 Australian Junior Motocross Championship (AJMX), hosted by the Goulburn Valley Junior Motorcycle Club.
For the Protraxx team, the championship represented much more than another track preparation project. It was an opportunity to invest time, equipment and resources into the junior riders who represent the future of Australian motocross.

Investing in the Next Generation
Having worked across some of Australia’s biggest motocross and supercross events, Protraxx made a conscious decision in 2026 to direct additional resources towards supporting junior motocross.
The Australian Junior Motocross Championship provided the perfect opportunity to do exactly that.
With young riders and their families travelling from across the country to compete, the event brought together the next generation of Australian motocross talent.
For Protraxx, supporting these events is an important part of giving back to the sport that has helped build the business.
A Full Week Behind the Scenes
The Protraxx crew spent the championship week preparing and maintaining the track, working to provide a quality racing surface throughout the event.

From track preparation ahead of racing to ongoing maintenance between sessions, the team worked alongside the host club to support the delivery of the national championship.
Junior racing presents its own unique requirements, with different age groups, motorcycle capacities and experience levels sharing the same track.
Providing a well-prepared track for these riders was a major focus for the Protraxx crew throughout the week.

More Than Just Racing
Away from the track, the Protraxx truck became a popular spot for young riders, siblings and families to spend time between races.

Together with Tiny Tracks and Mighty Moto, Protraxx provided a space where kids could enjoy activities, try out the equipment and have some fun away from the competition.
Protraxx partners Thor, Michelin and Patrol also contributed to the weekend’s activations, helping create a welcoming environment for families.

The Protraxx Shop was also on-site, showcasing products from its industry partners alongside the growing Protraxx merchandise range, including products for younger motocross fans.

The range is also available online at protraxxshop.com.
Thank You to the Motocross Community
A huge thank you goes to the Goulburn Valley Junior Motorcycle Club for welcoming the Protraxx crew and allowing the team to be part of the championship.
Protraxx also thanks the volunteers, officials, event organisers, families and everyone working behind the scenes to make the event possible.
Special thanks go to partners Thor, Michelin, Patrol, Tiny Tracks and Mighty Moto for their involvement and support.

Most importantly, congratulations to every junior rider who lined up throughout the championship.
Whether competing for a national title or gaining valuable experience at a major event, every young rider is contributing to the future of Australian motocross.
From MXGP to AJMX, Protraxx is proud to support motocross at every level — from the world’s best riders to the next generation coming through.
