The Edenhope Motorcycle club have now opened doors to the public to join their club with their brand new motocross facility built by Protraxx.

The all new 1.75km track boasts sections to suit all rider levels and ages.

“I was pretty excited to get the call from the EMCC, The club offered me a blank canvas of land and the green light to build my own design.

The club members where exceptional to work with, some members loaning extra equipment to help get the job done quicker.

Overall we are happy with the result of this track and are looking forward to seeing many events held on it in the near future.”  – Josh Proctor (Protraxx)

Club Secretary Paul Colgate kindly took some time out for us to answer a few questions.

What is the price to ride? Family Membership $80 Ride day fees vary from free to $60 depending on event

What are the plans for the club now? The club is very progressive and will continue to run its varying events. We have a dedicated sand track and also a 10k Enduro loop that we run ride days on, we also run a couple of catered trail rides throughout the year. We Cater for all styles of dirt bike riding, young and old and to top it off now a world class MX track.

Will EMCC be MA affiliated in the future and do you plan to host events?
The EMCC is currently affiliated with the AMA. We are hoping to become MV affiliated in the future so then we can hopefully join in on the western region series and possibly some bigger events further in the future. The AMA has been great at supporting our club at the grassroots level and we wouldn’t have been able to achieve what we have without them.

How did you get on to Josh? Went to the Geelong supercross and thought the track was cool lol. Spoke to a few people at various racing events as our boys race and your company was continually mentioned, so I looked up Protraxx on Facebook and gave Josh a call.

Why did you choose Protraxx? Honestly seemed to be the best out there and we wanted a professional track to bring people to our remote town. Your company definitely exceeded our expectations.

 What do you and the club think of the track and Protraxx work would you change anything in the future? 
Firstly everyone in our club absolutely LOVES our new MX track. The Protraxx team is completely professional and extremely easy to deal with. Josh asked what we were looking for in a MX track and delivered that 10 fold. Nothing was too hard. We couldn’t be happier. There is nothing as a club we would change and we honestly for the site available to us we have one of the best motocross tracks in Australia. Completely world class. My only advice to any club thinking about building a new track or doing serious renovations is to get Protraxx you will not be disappointed!
